I love everything about this picture; a mid-century Eames, the rustic coffee table with hairpin legs, lots of layered rugs...........yes please!
And let's talk about Morocan cactus silk pillows. I just can't get enough of them. They remind me of Navajo sand paintings.
Making cactus silk of Sabra silk is a centuries old technique of creating a silky fiber from the Saharan agave plant. The leaves are soaked and pounded until the fibers separate, which then are spun and dyed with natural vegetable dyes.
Traditional tribal motifs are woven into the fabric and sometimes embellished with camel hair. Every order we receive from Morocco is unique and authentic.
Be aware "little readers," a lot of the cactus silk out there is fake and often fabricated from rayon. Let's keep it real!
